In this gorgeous world, animals deserve respect as far as individuals. They’ve as much right to live like us, human beings. It’s our world, but it’s their world too. So, this world is a member of all animals living on it. Yet, many are contrary to this notion, since they believe that animals do not have feelings or a soul.
Can we have all of the rights, just because we are at the top of the food chain? Didn’t we learn our lesson through innumerable wars?
It seems not! A good deal of people still doesn’t get it, like a kid who never learns. Animals have rights. And they surely deserve admiration, so that they can live their lives free from suffering, abuse, and mistreatment. Life is a life, and it ought to be appreciated. So, protecting them is something that you and I should be pleased with. As individuals, it’s our duty. All creatures have the right to be free of persecution, cruelty, captivity, manipulation, and abuse with individuals. As soon as we admire the well-being of animals, we reestablish equilibrium in natural preservation.
Animals Deserve Respect

Yet, too many think that animals are on this planet for us to exploit, control, use and rule over them. A lot of us believe that we are above it all, but we have much to learn. But, in addition, some people do believe animals deserve respect as much as individuals.
So, I’m one of those men and women who firmly believe animals should have a better place on our planet. They’re sentient beings. Both of them do not have the same conscious principles which we do. However, they still have to be loved, cared for, respected, and protected.
Blind to the Truth
Just because animals can’t tell us how they feel, does not signify they don’t have any rights. Yet, we cannot get from a fact. It is we people who are defining which standards to put on value. However, that gave us such a privilege?
In my view, I believe that creatures hold a special place in our world and some of them, particularly our pets, become family members. They do not have a voice to speak up for themselves, and they deserve honor and to be spared. And I feel we, as individuals should do that for them.
Of course, I do not believe that animals will need to rule human society. However, does it give us the right to be cruel, kill, misuse, purge, torture, or slaughter other living creatures? It is illegal to kill another person, but it is okay to hurt, mistreat or kill creatures. How is that any less poor? Most of us are blind to the truth.
Animals and the Arrogant Species

In fact, we are an arrogant species, entitling ourselves to be superior to other species and lowering some other classes. They believe them to be worthless, and only here to give food and needs for us, human beings.
Because I am a child, I always rebelled and wondered why man believes he’s on top of the food chain. We are not quicker, stronger, or even brighter than lots of creatures. Of course, we can reason and possess a great deal of wisdom at our disposal. But then again we’re also the only arrogant species that have so little respect and is bent on murdering the very planet that sustains our lives. So, to me, this kind of intellect looks similar to stupidity.
Animals Do Have Feelings
Despite all of the things that occur on the planet, our lack of thought and awareness in this matter shows that we are not as improved as we ought to be. It starts by giving equal attention to animals in addition to our fellow men. Some people are nowadays starting to wake up to such facts, but we still have quite a ways to go.
So, all animals deserve respect as they can endure and feel pain in precisely the same way and to the same degree that you and I do. They can feel happiness, pain, anxiety, pleasure, attention, sadness, loneliness, and motherly love. They know more than what we give them credit for.
Animals can also be living animals. Why is it that people believe they are better is beyond me? Humanity is nowhere if animals didn’t exist in this world. The truth is it’s just as bad killing a creature as it is to kill an individual, it is murder. Killing one insect by accident is OK, however, a herd of cows or a pride of lions is not perfect. Frequently, I believe people are equal, or even lower, compared to other creatures.
The Most Disrespectful of Animals
We have the power to think, visualize and invent things, and it’s what caused individuals to flourish in the first place. It is such an incredible ability. And yes, we human beings have imaginations, but we also possess self-awareness. Therefore, we’ve got the ability to reflect on our existence. Nevertheless, we should have more integrity and compassion.
Really, we are the most complex of animals on the planet, yet very disrespectful. We can speak unique languages, cook food, create things, drive a car, or fly a plane, as well as debate over all kinds of situations. Yet, I am asking you: “If we are smarter and have a greater capacity for thought, why are we behaving with such disrespect towards this planet and the creatures living on it?”
